Sam was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, but soon after his family relocated to Vidalia, Louisiana, a small town within the Mississippi Delta. He graduated high school in 2001, then attended college at the University of Louisiana at Monroe where he studied Pre-Pharmacy. During his time at college, he was deployed to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003.
Upon returning, he began his stint in the Oil and Gas Industry as a contract Landman and also continued serving his country and community as an active member of the Louisiana National Guard. Sam was honorably discharged in March 2008.
Sam’s experience and skill level as a Landman ranges from lease/asset negotiations and acquisitions, title/abstracts, due diligence and curative. He has worked on projects from East Texas throughout Louisiana and Mississippi.
Sam has been married for 10 years and has two wonderful boys ages 7 and 4. When not at work, Sam tends to be an avid outdoorsman, spending his time in the woods and on the water hunting and fishing. However lately he finds himself spending more time at his children’s sporting events. Prior to relocating, Sam served as an active member within his local church, where he served as a member on the Pastor’s Council along with being the church Treasurer.
