Bill Black | Senior Landman
Bill was born and raised in Pasadena, California and graduated from high school in 2004. After finishing college with a BA in Business Law from the University of the Pacific in 2008, he started work in the Environmental Health & Safety side of the oil and gas industry for Plains Exploration & Production Company.
Two and a half years later, Bill was transferred to Houston and to the landman profession through projects stretching across Texas, Wyoming and southern Louisiana.
Bill continued to grow and develop his skills as a landman, working for Freeport-McMoRan until March of 2017, when he took a position as a contract landman at Noble Energy. During this time Bill reconnected with Isack Kohn, whom he had met during their mutual time at Freeport-McMoRan, and accepted an offer as Senior Landman with Bellatorum Resources.
When not in the office, Bill enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, is an avid hunter and plays softball.
